After a short break (say 45 years) I started drawing again.

“After receiving my MA and MFA from Northern Illinois University I began showing my work in and around the Chicago area. This led me to doing freelance work in scientific illustration. I have always had an interest in cartography, astronomy and calligraphy. I combine images from these areas to produce my drawings. My drawing are done with pen, ink and watercolors. For me the genre of scientific and/or technical illustration infers that the images have intention and purpose…..that said, the meaning of these images is implied and not resolved.”
